We headed to upstate New York to the Adirondack's High Peak region hoping to catch the fall colors. It was a beautiful (but chilly!) weekend--blue skies and many lovely people on the trail. Overall, we packed nearly 19 miles and summited five peaks. The leaves had just started to turn and the views from the summit were wonderful.
